Green Tug powers up

The power management system for the OSD-led Green Tug project has been developed. It will manage the output from two fuel cells, a bank of batteries and four diesel gensets.

To help refine the design into a full scale operational system, in-service power demand measurements will be done onboard the Iskes' tug Triton during all types of berthing and locking manoeuvres.
